Troop 15 Headstone Placing

On Saturday, Troop 15 went to the Elma cemetery to place a headstone for the VFW (Veterans of  Foreign Wars).  My brothers, dad and I got there before anyone else and met some men from the Elma VFW.  Coincidentally, they were there to place a headstone too!  So, we ended up digging and setting two headstones.  Here some pictures.

Bill, the Comander of the Elma VFW marking where to put the headstone.

Tim and Tom digging a hole in the ground.

This was a hole that had collapsed because of the old wooden coffin that was disintegrating.

The troop finally arrived and started digging another hole.

After they dug the hole they carried the plaque along with the concrete to the hole.

Court of Honor

Our troop had a court of honor September 15th (that's where scouts get advancements and and merit badges).  Pictures were taken at this ceremony, so here I am to show them to you.

All the food that was brought to the court of honor.

Rodeo Clean Up

We were asked to clean up before and after the Elma Fairgrounds Rodeo on the 26th of September, and we did.  So here are the pictures that were took during the cleaning of the rodeo.

This was how dusty it was when we started.

Boy Scout Canoeing Trip

Troop 15 went on a canoeing trip August 15th, 2010 and had a some fun on the Chehalis river.  Luke's dad (what's his name?) was making sure we didn't fall in the river and kill a fish.

So here's some pictures I took (and my brother, but I took most of them) on the trip

Unloading the canoes off of Jae's trailer.

Kyle and Timothy unloading another canoe.

All the canoes ready to go.

Rowing in the Chehalis.

Luke's dad making sure we're paddling right.

Jesse, Jason, and Andy in the motor boat.

Returned by nightfall,

And still had alot of fun.
